A resident of Jericho, Pat Kaiser has worked for VSAC since 1986, currently holding the position of vice president of student services and information technology. In that capacity, he oversees the VSAC Resource Center, financial aid delivery and operations, customer relations, information technology, and integrated data and project management, ensuring that eligible applicants can access grants, scholarships, and loans from VSAC and that customers are supported throughout repayment of their loans. Pat is also responsible for the areas of compliance and claims and collections. He previously worked for the Cambridge, Massachusetts, public schools as assistant manager of financial operations and as an internal auditor; as a consultant for the Massachusetts Bureau of Employee Development in Boston; and for the University of Portland in Oregon and Carroll College in Montana. At the national level, Pat is active in the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs, Education Loan Management, and the Student Loan Servicing Alliance. Pat has also devoted many years to the American Red Cross, now serving his second term as chair of both the Northern Vermont Chapter board and the Vermont New Hampshire Valley regional board. Locally, Pat has been involved in the Jericho Elementary and Poker Hill school boards. Pat has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland, master’s degrees from Loyola University of Chicago and Harvard University, and a certificate of advanced studies from Harvard.
